By using The GC's Office, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. Simple.

The Service

The GC's Office is a free contractor directory and estimating tool operated by Loyal9 LLC, Riverside, CA. The service is provided as-is, free of charge, with no guarantee of uptime or availability.

Contractor Directory Data

• Contractor profiles in the directory are seeded from the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) public registry. This is public record data.
• We make reasonable efforts to keep data current but make no warranty that license status, bond status, or WC coverage shown is accurate at the time of viewing.
• Always verify a contractor's license directly at cslb.ca.gov before hiring.
• Trust badges (Licensed, Bonded, Insured) link directly to the government source URL provided by the contractor. We verify the match at claim time but do not continuously monitor for changes.

Claiming a Profile

• By claiming a profile, you represent that you are the licensed contractor identified by the license number you submit.
• You agree that the government URL you provide accurately shows your license, bond, or WC coverage.
• Submitting false information to claim a profile you are not entitled to is a violation of these terms and may constitute fraud under applicable law.
• We reserve the right to remove any claimed profile that we determine was claimed fraudulently or in error.

No Warranty on License Status

License status, bond status, and workers' comp coverage shown on this platform reflect data at the time of last verification. Contractor licensing status can change. Loyal9 LLC is not responsible for any hiring decisions made based on information displayed on this platform. Always verify independently.

User Conduct

• Do not attempt to claim a profile that is not yours.
• Do not use the platform to scrape, harvest, or republish contractor data at scale.
• Do not use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual Property

The GC's Office codebase is MIT licensed. You are free to fork, modify, and redistribute with attribution. The Loyal9 LLC name, The GC's Office name, and associated branding are not included in the MIT license and may not be used without permission.

Contractor directory data is sourced from public records and is not proprietary to Loyal9 LLC.

Limitation of Liability

Loyal9 LLC is not liable for any damages arising from use of this platform, including but not limited to hiring decisions, contract disputes, or reliance on license status information displayed here. The platform is provided free of charge and without warranty of any kind.

Termination

We reserve the right to remove any profile, restrict access, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in Riverside County, California.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update.
